PP 500P is a culture medium catamenia, useful class because bulge and injectant mouding coverings.PP 500P can be used for producing woven bags, flexible intermediate bulk containers, ropes &twines, carpet backing, geotextiles and concrete reinforcements. PP resin should be stored to prevent a direct exposure to sunlight and/or heat. The storage area should also be dry and preferably don’t exceed 50°C. If applied for extrusion this grade shows an excellent stretchability and is therefore particularly suitable for tapes and strapping, high tenacity yarns and carpet backing. For thermoforming it shows an unique balance between transparancy, impact resistance and thickness uniformity. For injection moulded articles it is mainly used for caps and closures and houseware products, where this grade shows a high stiffness, combined with a fair impact resistance and very good surface hardness.SABIC would not give warranty to bad storage conditions which may lead to quality deterioration such as color change, bad smell and inadequate product performance. It is advisable to process PP resin within 6 months after delivery.
