Manufacturing process
Isotropic graphite manufacturing process in addition to the manufacturing process and other graphite materials in the raw material preparation, molding equipment, the molding process, the same manufacturing process with other graphite materials.
(1) raw materials. Raw materials used in the manufacture of isotropic graphite generally have the following:
A) natural asphalt using a special process to produce spherical coke, this material has anisotropic characteristics.
2) using ordinary coke, such as petroleum coke, pitch coke.
3) asphalt raw material at 400 ~ 430 ℃ heat treatment 1 ~ 2h, to produce spherulites as raw material, and then quinoline extraction bulb diameter of about 10μm.
4) to coal tar pitch, petroleum cracking residue added to the modified inorganic materials (such as calcium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate) by kneading, charring prepared coke as raw materials.
5) coke as raw material, without binder, direct molding.
(2) molding equipment. Widely used abroad cold isostatic pressing machine. In recent years, also by hot isostatic presses and vibration molding press.
(3) molding process. Widely used in cold isostatic pressing a wet bag method (also called rubber pressure method) (Cold Isos tatic Pressing, referred to as the CIP).
